Prof. Patricio Cabello is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Advanced Research in Education at Universidad de Chile. He is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Communication and Media Department and the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). His research focuses on the development of digital skills and their implications for social inclusion, participation, civic engagement, and education. On the other hand, it focuses on the study of collaborative learning and its relationship with developing skills for the 21st century.

Prof. Cabello has been a consultant to UNESCO and UNICEF in projects for the digital inclusion of children and adolescents. He has participated as a principal investigator in diverse projects (FONDECYT 11140751, PLU140009, Kids Online Chile 2016 and 2022) and co-researcher in other awarded projects.
